I have an annuity payout from a legal settlement for personal injury. I didn't receive a 1099. How do I report this as income? Is it taxable?

I have an annuity payout from a legal settlement for personal injury. I didn't receive a 1099. How do I report this as income? Is it taxable?
If the settlement was for personal injury or pain and suffering, then it is not taxable. You will not receive a 1099 and you do not need to report it.
