I have a sale of a regular mutual fund that is non Coverdell ESA. TurboTax insists, in the Pennsylvania state return, that is a Coverdell distribution.

Why does TurboTax mistakenly things a regular mutual fund sale is a Coverdell ESA distribution? It does this every year.

Does anyone know why is it happening and how do I fix it?

I'm sorry this was a mistake. It says that it is for capital gain/loss or Coverdell ESA distribution. I missed the capital gain/loss part.
