I have a retirement Pension, but I can't seem to get to the portal to claim it?

I get a 1099 for my pesion, but they ask for my bank, I give it to them and they don't recognize it?

Are you trying to import a 1099R? It is too early. Very few--if any -- financial institutions will have 2020 data available for import before the end of January or sometime in February.

If you have the form in hand just enter it manually ... skip the import.
