I have a health savings account. On my W-2 form the contribution is only from my employer as I did not contribute for 2018. How do I file?

TurboTax pulls the contribution figure from your W-2 Box 12 information. You should not have to do anything else.

So do I need to complete the 8889 form?

Yes, any time you have a contribution or distribution for your HSA, you will need to complete Form 8889. The program should take you there when it recognizes the employer contribution.
