YES ... there are no RMD for the 2020 tax year ... you can skip it.

The CARES Act waives the 2020 RMD entirely. It is not simply postponed. In 2021 you'll take the 2021 RMD, not any part of the 2020 RMD that would have been required were it not for the CARES Act.
