I have a capital loss to carry forward, a RMD to report, Traditional/Roth IRA's to track, and Social Security earnings to report. Do I need to use the deluxe or premier?

In the online world of TurboTax the major distinction between Deluxe and Premier is that Premier can properly report the sale of securities (1099-B) while Deluxe cannot. If you didn't sell any securities out of an after-tax account then Deluxe should work for your situation. If, for whatever reason, you later decide you want/need to upgrade to Premier you can do that "on the fly", paying the price differential between the two products.
