I have a 1099-NEC that has an amount in Box 3. I can't find a place to enter the amount on Turbo Tax? HELPPPPPPPP

To enter a Form 1099-NEC -

• Click on Federal
• Click on Income & Expenses
• Scroll down to Other Common Income
• On Form 1099-NEC, click the start or update button

Or enter 1099-nec in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen.  Click on Jump to 1099-nec

I have done that but on that form there is no box 3.  On my 1099-NEC I received it has the income listed under Box 3.  There is no box 3 location for me to enter this information currently?

There is no box 3 on a Form 1099-NEC from the IRS - https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1099nec.pdf

There is a box 3 on a Form 1099-MISC shown as Other Income.

Why did you receive this form?  Is the amount shown on your form for work performed as a self-employed independent contractor?
