I had to take an RMD due to the death of my mother. I rolled it over into another IRA. Turbo tax is taxing it as income. Why?

This distribution was not permitted to be rolled over, so TurboTax will not permit you to report it as rolled over and TurboTax is properly treating it as taxable.  If you deposited the money into your own IRA it's a regular IRA contribution that must be entered in the Traditional and Roth IRA Contribution section under Deductions & Credits.  Otherwise it's an excess contribution subject to penalty.
