I got laid off 08/10/2016 I got my friest cheack on 09/05/2016 I get $387.00 a week before taxes $333.00 after taxes so I not sure how to file my taxes this year so I more help

You should expect a W-2 from your employer and a 1099-G from the state that reports your unemployment payments as income. Some states don't mail the 1099-G, you have to download it from a web site. Just go through the program like usual and report both types of income, along with all your usual deductions and so forth.

Are you referring to receiving unemployment compensation?
