I filed in January and received a 1099 on Feb. 5th How do I add this to my taxes?

You have to wait until your original return has been fully processed and then you can amend to add the 1099.  What kind of 1099 is it?   1099NEC?  1099R?  1099B?  1099Misc?  SSA1099?  etc etc etc

When you amend you will use a special form called a 1040X.  An amended 2021 return can be e-filed.

You will have to file an amendment to add the1099 you received.

If you have received your refund you can go ahead and file the amendment.

Otherwise, wait till IRS processes your original return.
