I entered a 401K rollover on my tax return but it is showing up under Pensions and Annuities when I print out,Why

Di you check the box that said Rollover after you entered the 1099-R?  The  TT Income Summary shows only the gross amount, and is just FYI.  Your actual tax return, though, lists both the gross and taxable (which should be zero) figures, with the word Rollover on lines 5a and 5b.

A 401(k) is in the category of Pensions an Annuities, not IRAs, so it's proper that it appears on lines 5a and 5b of Form 1040.
