I did two teaching sessions for which i earned $200 each or total of $400 before expenses. I did not get a 1099 from either company. Do I need to report this income and if so, where? i know i don't need to pay SEI because it is under $400 but I don't k

If you want to claim it for the earned income credit, or deduct expenses, you will still have to report it on schedule C. As you already know, Self Employment tax (FICA) will not be due because of the $400 rule. Otherwise you can report it as "Other income" on line 21 of form 1040.
In TurboTax (TT), enter at:
- Federal Taxes tab
- Wages & Income
- “I’ll choose what I work on” Button
Scroll down to:
-Less Common Income
-Misc Income, 1099-A, 1099-C
On the next screen choose other reportable income (at the bottom)
