I did not report a Roth IRA withdrawal (contributions only) in 2017. Do I need to file an amended return for 2017 before I file for 2018?

If this was a nonqualified distribution, you do need to amend to include Form 8606 Part III, but it doesn't need to be done before filing your 2018 tax return as long as you correct your Roth IRA contribution basis in 2018 TurboTax.
