I did not receive a 1099r form. how do I get the info I need?

After my job ended I received money from my retirement account. I'm assuming I need a 1099R, but have not received one. How do I get the info I need for my taxes?

Financial institutions have until January 31st to send you form 1099-R, but in most cases it is available earlier on their website, typically in a "tax" or "year-end statements" link.
