I did my return and it showed I owe $1500 on my IRA distribution. I have since updated Turbo tax, and now I owe $149! what happend???

Always print a copy of your completed tax return for your records, and review it carefully before e-Filing.
You will need it if you are audited by the IRS, or to amend if a TurboTax update changes your return or for any other reason,

Thank you, but this did not answer my question.  Is it a bug in the updated Turbo Tax? Or did the taxable IRA distribution law change from 4 days ago?
