I contributed to both a traditional IRA and a Roth IRA in 2022 but I am just now filing my taxes on July 24, 2023, Can I include this in my filing?
I have not previously filed my 2022 income taxes.

You can contribute a total of $6,000 ($7,000 if age 50 or older) combined for both IRA’s, not those amounts for each. If you contributed before April 18, 2023 for the year 2022 include the contributions on your 2022 return.

You MUST report the contributions no matter when you file your return. If you have an excess contribution, we can discuss what you must do about it. Do you have an extension, or are you just late with no approved extension?
