I contributed to a qualified Roth IRA. On my Credit for Qualified Retirement Savings Contributions (Form 8880), why does it duplicate my line 1 contribution on line 2?

Is it expected that the amount would be the same if your only Roth IRA contributions were elective deferrals to a qualified employer Roth IRA?

You have mistakenly entered the contributions to the Roth account at your employer as Roth IRA contributions.  The Roth account with your employer is not a Roth IRA.  Go back to Deductions & Credits -> Retirement and Investments -> Traditional and Roth IRA contributions section of TurboTax and remove the contribution entry you made there.  Amount reported in box 12 of your W-2 are to be entered only in bx 12 of TurboTax's W-2 form, nowhere else in TurboTax.
