My income was used for bills, rent and food.  I was selected for review and I filed on February 3. Today is May 16 and I still haven’t heard anything yet.  Should I be concerned

What kind of income did she have that isn't taxable?  Was it only Social Security?  Almost everything else is taxable.

for your mom, the issue may be support.   was the value of what you provided her more than $13,000?

siblings would need there gross income each to be under $4,150 and you would also have to provide them more than 50% of their support.

of course there could be completely other things the IRS is checking out. 

if the IRS wants further info they will notify you.   You do have the option of contacting the IRS 800-829-1040
