I can't get the distribution to the beneficiary to show up as a deduction on the 1041

Check the beneficiary K-1's to see if the distributions to the beneficiaries appear there. ‌If you reported the distributions in the distribution section of the return, the distributions are reported directly in the beneficiaries k-1's and not reported as deductions in the 1041.
