Yes, for the best filing result, you should file a joint return to include her Social Security income on your return.

To enter Social Security income /benefits:

  • Type ssa-1099 in the search box, top right of your screen, then click the magnifying glass

  • Click the jump to ssa-1099 link in the search results

  • Follow to prompts and online instructions
