I am trying to deduct the tips listed in box 7 of my W-2. I am a candy store cashier so my industry isn't listed. Am I ineligible or should I choose Restaurant Host?

For the purposes of claiming the "No tax on tips" deductions, what you selected should be perfectly OK.

Yes, tips you receive in your role of counter worker in a candy shop qualify for the “No Tax on Tips” provision. A counter worker at a store is one of the qualified tipped occupations

For more details about eligibility and how the rule works, please review:  What is the new tax law for tips?

Thanks but the dropdown choices in Turbo Tax are limited.  I chose "food & Beverage" and then subclass "barista, fast food worker"

There was no "counter worker" which would have been a better fit for me.
