I am self-employed and contributed to an individual IRA in 2016. Where do I enter that?

To enter your IRA contributions, which are an adjustment to income, in TurboTax, go here:

  • Federal Taxes (Personal if using TurboTax Home and Business)
  • Deductions & Credits
  • Retirement and Investments
  • Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions
  • Start or Revisit
You will then be in the interview to enter your contributions to an IRA.
