I am retired but my wife has a part time job and a part time travel business. Can we both file together using the basic Turbotax form?

Yes, you can file a joint return, but no you cannot use the basic form. If you do you would report all of your income, both your retirement income and her self-employment on one return.  

 

 Since she is self-employed, TurboTax Home and Business or TurboTax Premier would support the Schedule C.
