I am receiving an error "Your employer withheld too much Social Security tax from your wages in 2024." but the amount withheld is 6.2%. Anyone else receiving this error?

If the amount in box 4 of the W-2 is even off by $0.01 it will trigger TurboTax to give your this message.

Multiply box 3 by 6.2% and that should equal the amount in box 4. You can change the amount of cents on the SS taxes withheld so you will not get this message.
