The question indicates that you are in the wrong section of TurboTax data entry... You are filing the railroad retirement as if it is a W-2 form... wages. And that is not the correct data entry.  Please refer below for details:

If you have form RRB-1099-R- it is for the PENSION portion of Railroad Retirement benefits

  1. Federal Taxes
  2. Wages & Income
  3. Scroll down to Retirement and Social Security
  4. Select IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), select RRB-1099-R, Railroad Retirement Board annuities or pensions

If you have form RRB-1099 (no "R" at the end) - it is for the SOCIAL SECURITY PORTION of Railroad Retirement benefits:

  1. Federal Taxes
  2. Wages & Income
  3. Scroll down to Retirement and Social Security
  4. Select Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099), select "Yes, let's work on social security" and select Railroad retirement benefits (RRB-1099)
