I am helping my 20 year old son file his taxes w/ him, does he have to file SSA1099 income he received from Soc Sec because i received disability benefits & back pay?

If the SSA-1099 form is in his name then he needs to report the income. Whether or not the income is taxable will depend on how much other income is reported on his tax return. Please view the TurboTax FAQ below for more information.
