I am filling out info for 1099-R, box 9a There is no amount in the actual form, yet Turbotax is requiring me to fill in at least 0.01. How can I ensure this is correct?

If the box 9a is blank (or zero) on your form then leave it blank in the program ... a zero is NOT a valid amount.

I have uploaded 1099R with 9A blank, transmitted, getting Federal return rejected.  Then entered manually, still get error and rejected.

What is the exact rejection message and/or code ?
