Yes. If your husband has been the primary taxpayer on your Married Filing Jointly tax returns in previous years, you should continue to list him as such. While there is nothing technically wrong about switching the order of taxpayers on a joint return, it can cause confusion at the IRS, leading to problems tracking carry forward and carry back items and other issues.
