I am 66 years old and retired no dependants. I turned 66 in Jan. 2018. total income is 14,410.73. Do I need to file.

You can use the chart below to help determine whether or not you need to file a tax return this year:  If you are single and over the age of 65 you must file if gross income is at least 11,900.
