Just answer the question as if the payment was a Required Minimum Distribution. The program will ask these questions about all Form 1099-Rs when a taxpayer turned 70-1/2 during the tax year.
Select "Yes" to the 1st question - "Was this an RMD?".
Answer "No" when asked if the amount reported is paid periodically in equal amounts.
Finally, answer "All of it." when asked "How much of this payment was an RMD",
