Yes, it's actually done in Quick Employer Forms which you can access from TurboTax.

When you are signed into your TurboTax Online Self-employed account (without paying an additional fee)

  • Search (upper right magnifier) > Type schedule c > Click the Jump to... link
  • Select Edit beside Self-Employment income > Scroll to Business Summary  > Click Edit beside 'Your Service Income Info
  • Scroll to Payments and identification > Edit  under Required to send a 1099 (even if you already have 'Yes' marked
  • Click the hyperlink Help me prepare and file W-2s and 1099s
  • Click on Quick Employer Forms  on the right, at this point while you are in the tax return

Or if you are not using that version you can click the link and pay for the use of it. Quick Employer Forms FAQs

This year you need Turbo Tax Premium for Online or the Desktop Home & Business program to prepare 1099.

For Online Premium:
Sign in to TurboTax.
Select Tax Home from the left menu (you might already be there).
Scroll down and select Your account.
Select Create W-2s and 1099s.
This will log you in to Quick Employer Forms.
Follow the instructions to create forms online for your employees or contractors.
