How do I know if I choose the deduct money owed from account or if I have to mail it in?

You can sign back into your account with the same UserID & password you used to prepare your return, then click on the File tab, go through the screens until you get to the screen that asks how you want your refund.

If you cannot get back into your return try the following:

Under the "SOME THINGS YOU CAN DO" heading, choose "Add a state" (you're not really adding a state, this allows you to get back into your return).
