yeah...that's a problem this year.
....the workaround is as follows....
For any 1099-R forms that were issued from the same Payer.
Find any that have exactly the same box 7 codes....
Then add the boxes on those 1099-R forms together for those and enter as one 1099-R form.
Don't put a 1099-R with two box 7 codes in with any with one box 7 code...the codes must exactly match.

IF they ALL have the same box 7 code, and ALL are from the same payer...you could combine them, but may be uncomfortable doing so. Then take the small$$ ones and add them together and leave the big$$ ones separate. Staple together any 1099-R forms that you combined.
That will do it.
