How do I file state taxes if I get a pension from my former employer in one state but now live in another state?

You pay tax to the state you live in. If you did not live in the old state in 2023 it does not matter that the pension is coming from that state.

My employer deducted state income tax for NC. The form asks if I was a part time resident of the state or made money there. I live and work only in SC. What do i do?
