How do I enter 1099R info in Turbo Tax from spouse. Do I indicate I inherited the IRA, or not? If I don't indicate I inherited Turbo Tax thinks it is my IRA.

What code is in box 7?   Is it in your name or your spouses name with you as beneficiary?

There will be a code on form 1099-R to indicate that this is an inherited account. You will enter this form in the Wages and Income section, located under the Federal Taxes tab. You can quickly input this form, by using the topic search tool.

• Sign in to your account.
• Click take me to my return.
• Click my account, at the top of the page.
• Select tools in the drop down menu.
• Click topic search, type in form 1099-R and click go.

You are now on the form 1099-R input screen.
