You can go back and add income to your return at anytime if your return has not yet been filed.

To add social security income, follow these steps:

• Click on the Federal category in the left hand navigation bar.
• Click on the Wages and Income tab at the top of the screen.
• In the full list of income items in your return, find the section labeled Retirement Plans and Social Security and click show more.
• Click start next to Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099) and enter the information that is missing.

If you can’t get back into your return you might have to click on Add a State to get back in.
