How do I add IRA contributions for 2023? I'm not self-employed. My employee deductions are recorded but I want to make additional contributions.

I had already completed the federal return, then decided I'd like to make contributions afterwards. It hasn't been filed,

To enter your 2023 IRA contributions 

1. Sign in to your TurboTax account.
2. Open or continue to your return.
3. In the search bar, type ira contributions and select the Jump to link in the search results.
4. We'll take you to the Traditional IRA and Roth IRA screen, where you can start the IRA interview.

IRA contributions for 2023 can be made until the April 15, 2024 federal tax-filing deadline.

To enter, edit or delete an IRA contribution -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Deductions and Credits
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement and Investments
On Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions, click the start or update button
