Every income screen on a joint return will have a spot for each spouse's income, so when you enter your spouse's SSA1099 make sure you look for her name.
Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.
If you are married the SSA 1099 entry screen will have 2 columns, one for each of you.
Enter a SSA-1099, SSA-1099-SM or RRB-1099 under
Federal Taxes (Personal for Home&Business)
Wages and Income
Then scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
Then the second line - Social Security (SSA-1099. RRB-1099) - click the Start or Revisit button
And.....after you enter the SSA1099, make sure you answer correctly on the next screen that asks if you lived in a foreign country in 2024. Lots of users are making mistakes with that one.
