Hi, I filed my tax return this April but then made a Roth IRA account and made contributions for both 2019 and 2020 this May. Do I have to make a tax return amendment?

Unless you are eligible for the saver's credit form 8880 you have nothing to amend.

As long as the 2019 contribution was made before July 15, and as long as you are legally allowed to make contributions given your other tax and income situations, you don't need to list it on your return or amend.
