Has anyone been able to update there 1099-R forms after they've been updated

Virtually everyone can edit them

.......(though, Desktop software users do have to run the most recent software updates.)

If you are still having trouble...delete that 1099-R form and re-enter it manually.  Don't upload a picture or PDF file (those commonly go wrong)  .  If you can't import it directly from a financial provider....use the manual entry procedure...."Enter Another Way"......and...."Type it in Myself"

Thanks for the advice, I arrived at that solution myself. But I think it’s a poor solution, i.e. it’s the response I would have expected from Microsoft in the 90’s. It is a feature. But it is broken.
