Forgot to attach 1099r to my paper tax return. What do i do?

I mailed in my CA tax return. but I forgot to attach a copy of my1099r to my tax return . What will happen , and how do I correct it. How long is my refund going to be delayed because of this oversight?

They would only want it if there was state tax withheld in box 12. If they want it they will send a letter asking you to send it with instructions.

No need to attach it if you didn't have state tax withheld. If you did, you will here from them
