For SS income, if you are under FRA - only "earned income" counts against you, and not payments from pensions and IRA's - TurboTax says all is counted - any thoughts?

Are you talking about your SS benefits being reduced because you are still working and are under full retirement age?    Only the income you receive from working counts "against" you----not income from pensions, IRA's etc.

Before you reach full retirement age, if you continue working while drawing SS, your benefits can be reduced if you earn over a certain limit.   For 2024, $22,320.  For 2025 it will be $23,400; 2026   $24,480

The amount that TurboTax determines to be taxable has nothing to do with your age.  Wages received before full retirement age affect the amount of your benefit, not how that benefit is taxed.
