if you see a  zero in the money field...try deleting it entirely, then the need for a state designation may disappear.

Sometimes the correction area is lower down on that sheet in one of the boxes.

(but, that's just a guess)

It worked!  Had to remove numerous zeros way down on the form.

Thank you so much for the advice in fixing this error. I struggled with trying to remove the 0 and the pink box .  I went further into the form and was able to remove the zero.

It won't let me delete the zero nor will it let me make any other changes.

Some folks who are using Desktop software have "Supporting Details" worksheet attached to a $0 that they can't seem to change.

 

Double-clicking on the zero usually brings up that worksheet for you to enter the proper amount...or to delete that worksheet entirely.

 

Either that, or maybe you are trying to delete or change a zero that is fed-in from some other sheet..... that would depend on exactly where you find the zero you don't like.
