What are you trying to enter? If this is for an employer provided tax deferred retirement account, the amount that you contributed is already entered in box 12 of the W-2. It is not entered anywhere else on a tax return.

To clarify,

Is this in regards to the yearly limit of contributions you make or the taxable portion of a distribution?
