Do we have to take out the amount RMD by Dec 31,2024?

I don’t know if we took anything out or not so how can I go on?

You are penalized for missing an RMD so you'd better find out what you did.

HINT: you will get a 1099-R for any distribution in 2024. All 11099-Rs have been sent out.

NOTE: penalty can be waived by you taking corrective action now.
