Do i really need to pay an rmd on my boston teachers pension like is required for a 401k or ira? never had this requirement in the past 6 years using turbo tax.

You do not need to receive a RMD when you receive a pension as all pension payments are considered as RMD.

You can answer Yes to the RMD questions and indicate that you have received 100% of the RMD.
