Do I need to submit an amended 1040 for a late 1099R Distribution Rollover (code G) after my e-file Fed/IRS was accepted, even though it does not affect my AGI?

Yes. The IRS will have a copy of the form 1099-R and will want to match it up to your tax return. It is also important to report this transaction as it may affect your cost basis later. Please view the TurboTax FAQ below for instructions on how to add a form 1099-R.

Once your original tax return has been processed and you have your refund, please view the Turbotax FAQ below and follow the instructions to prepare and mail your 2017 amended tax return.
