You enter your 1099R.

To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.

If you made a withdrawal from a Roth IRA in 2024 then you will receive a Form 1099-R from the IRA administrator usually in January 2025.  You report the Form 1099-R on your 2024 tax return.

To enter, edit or delete a form 1099-R -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
On IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click the start or update button

Or enter 1099-r in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1099-R

Yes, as xmasbaby0 and DoninGA mentioned, you need to report this on your tax return, however it is not taxable.

You should have received a Form 1099-R for your withdrawal.  If you haven't received it yet, you should wait until you do before completing your taxes.  You may be able to download it now from your financial institution (or employer if it is through your employer).

Your distribution will appear on your Form 1040 line 4a.  It will be excluded from line 4b because it is not taxable.
