Do I need to include my deceased husband's pension on my taxes if it was less than $1000?

Is this considered as income?

Please include your husband's pension, as pension income is considered income and should be reported on the tax return, regardless of the amount. Whether the entire amount is taxable will depend on other form 1099-R entries and answers to our follow up questions in Turbo Tax.
