If you are efiling you don't attach any documents.

If you are paper filing you are only required to attach documents that have taxes withheld.

There nothing wrong with attaching more that what's required.

It is never necessary to attach a copy of Form SSA-1099 to your tax return, even if it has tax withheld and you are filing by mail.
